Discovery Park is located where the American River meets the Sacramento River. The beautiful 302-acre park is located adjacent to I-5 in downtown Sacramento. Fans will enter the festival on the north side of Discovery Park at the Garden Highway entrance or the Jibboom Street entrance from the south.
 
Festival parking is not available within Discovery Park during Aftershock. Camping is also not allowed. In an effort to limit the amount of vehicles around the festival, we ask you to consider the convenient transportation options outlined on this page

Park & Ride Shuttle Passes
Enter & Exit through the Garden Highway Gate
The most convenient way to get to Discovery Park for Aftershock is to use the convenient Park & Ride Shuttle program! Aftershock is pleased to announce we will be returning to Cal Expo located at 1600 Exposition Blvd in Sacramento.  Each Park & Ride Shuttle Pass includes free parking for your vehicle at Cal Expo and a nonstop shuttle to and from the festival site.
On festival days, shuttles will begin service approximately 60 minutes prior to the gate opening time. Shuttles will run continuously throughout the day with limited service between 5:30pm-8:30pm on Thursday and Sunday, and 6:30pm-9:30pm on Friday and Saturday. Shuttles will run approximately 75 minutes after the end of the festival each night. 
Note: Accessible shuttle services will be available at all times throughout the event for paid shuttle pass holders.
Park & Ride Shuttle Passes are sold daily and for the weekend. Each shuttle rider needs their own pass for all rides. Buy your park and ride passes in advance to ensure your convenient ride to and from Aftershock! 
Bike Parking
Enter & Exit through the Jibboom St. Gate
Discovery Park is located along the Jedediah Smith Bike Trail and getting to the festival
by bike is fun, convenient and encouraged!
Aftershock has again partnered Sacramento Area Bicycle Advocates to provide a complimentary bike valet located near the Jibboom Street entrance. The bike valet will accept all active transportation vehicles including bikes, skateboards and scooters. and will be watched throughout the entire event. If you choose to “self-park” your bike, it is at your own risk. The bike valet will open approximately 90 minutes prior to gate opening time each day.
Rideshare / Taxis
Rideshare/Taxi pick-up and drop-off is available on both sides of the festival site. Please make sure you’re exiting on the correct side of the park at the end of the night!  
 
Jibboom St. Pick-Up Zone (Main Festival Rideshare Zone) 
The Jibboom St. Pick-Up Zone is located on the south side of Discovery Park, across the Jibboom St. Bridge. Exit the venue on the Jibboom St. side and cross the bridge. At the end of the bridge, follow the bike path under the I-5 overpass to your left. The rideshare zone will be shortly up the path on your right, near 500 Bercut Dr.
 
Garden Hwy Pick-Up Zone
The Garden Hwy Pick-Up Zone is located on the north side of Discovery Park, on W. El Camino Ave (between Natomas Park Dr and Millcreek Rd). Exit the venue on the Garden Hwy side and walk along Natomas Park Dr to W. El Camino. The rideshare zone will be on the right.
ADA Parking
Enter & Exit through the Jibboom St. Gate
Limited parking for patrons with disabilities will be available at the event, for a $50 daily fee (card only). Patrons with proper ADA vehicle credentials will be directed to park in the ADA Lot near the Jibboom Street festival entrance. Please follow the signage and the direction of festival staff and police to access this parking area. ADA parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
You must have a valid state issued Disabled Person Parking placard, permit or license plate-as well as proof it belongs to you for entry into the ADA Parking Lot. Lots will open at 10am daily. 
NOTE: Due to the egress of patrons at the end of the event, vehicles parked in the ADA lot will be held in place until the pedestrian traffic has cleared. This can be as long as 45 minutes after the end of the festival. No exceptions are made to exit so please plan accordingly if you park in the ADA parking lot.
 
The Park & Ride Shuttle will offer accessible shuttles and are another option for fans with disabilities.
SACRT Light Rail and Supplemental Bus Service
Enter & Exit through the Jibboom St. Gate SacRT light rail is a convenient way to travel to and from downtown Sacramento and to catch buses that will take you to the Aftershock Festival! For your convenience, SacRT has 53 light rail stations and 21 park-and-ride lots in a 43-mile service area. Light rail trains operate every 15 minutes during peak hours and every 30 minutes off peak hours. Service to Folsom stations operate every 30 minutes. Visit https://www.sacrt.com/aftershock/ for all of the details!  SacRT will provide supplemental bus service for fans from downtown Sacramento to Discovery Park. Bus service departs from the 8th and K bus stop and drops off on Jibboom Street (near ARCO) on the south side of the park. Fans will access the festival via the Jibboom Street bridge entrance. Return service is available at the end of the event at the same location as drop off. Note that the last bus departing back to downtown will leave approximately one hour after the scheduled end of the concert each night.
